Angelica worked for more than 25 years as an actuary for life insurance and actuarial consulting companies such as Metropolitan Life, Transamerica, Swiss Re and National Actuarial Network. As a reinsurance actuary, she worked with many national and international life insurance companies pricing, negotiating and auditing reinsurance contracts. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and her degrees include an Executive MBA from the Drucker Business School, Claremont University and a BS in Mathematics from the University of the Philippines.
She is the owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Pasadena. Angelica has earned the designation of Certified Business Broker and Certified Business Intermediary. As a business broker, she helps people buy and sell businesses.
Angelica is a member of International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), California Association of Business Brokers (CABB), Industry Manufacturers Council (IMC) and a board member of the San Gabriel Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is active in her community through Soroptimist International of Puente Hills and Toastmasters International and she is the President of the San Gabriel valley Consortium on Homelessness. Additionally, she is the Founder/President of Valley Housing Partners, a nonprofit that provides housing for homeless families and individuals.

Gregory Michail is a second generation Broker, with extensive knowledge of the Los Angeles and Orange County marketplace. Prior to becoming a full-time Broker with Sunbelt, he worked in a variety of roles at Wells Fargo, including Store Manager and Regional Private Banker, during his 11 years there. His roles always centered on understanding his clients' wants and needs and helping make them a reality. He prides himself on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that his clients receive the highest level of attention and care. He takes a sincere, consultative approach in getting to know his clients, by asking the right questions and listening intently to understand their criteria and what is most important to them.
Gregory is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with a BA in Legal Studies and a Minor in Business Administration. Along with his Real Estate training, Gregory also has a decades’ worth of experience in Investments and Financial Advising, and currently holds his NASD Series 7 & Series 66 licenses. When Gregory is not busy with his clients you can find him spending time with family, doing work around the home or scouring local golf courses for his golf balls.

Eric Yao specializes in buyer representation to US and International entrepreneurs. He believes a fiduciary relationship will reward a buyer with the most care and loyalty.
Eric is a business owner of Pacific ProPartners, a California Registered Investment Advisor specialized in EB-5 investment advisory. As a registered investment advisor and due diligence analyst, Eric has assisted over 35 foreign nationals to complete EB-5 investment transactions. His affiliation with Sunbelt expands his clientele to foreign entrepreneurs who are pursuing U.S. residency via the E2, EB1C, and L1 visa programs. His familiarity with the investment immigration programs helps him better understand his clients and communicate more effectively with their immigration attorneys. Eric often positions himself as a “quarterback” of the buyer’s immigration team.
Prior to Pacific ProPartners, Eric worked as an U.S. Operation Manager at American Dream Fund and as a financial analyst and Director of Capital Markets at Wangard Advisors. In these functions, Eric was involved in underwriting and managing over $1 billion worth of private investment. He has passed several FINRA (securities-related) exams including series 7, 63, 65, and 82. Eric received his MBA degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison and Master of Economics at Renmin University of China.

Sobhi Michail, CBI, CBB
We lovingly say "Goodbye" to Sobhi Michail.
Sobhi was born in Egypt and moved to the US in the early 70s. He started work as a security guard and moved on to become a pension actuary at Metropolitan Life where he met Angelica, also an actuary. They got married and had two sons, Gregory and Christopher, by the time they moved to Los Angeles. They continued work as actuaries in various insurance and consulting companies. In 1992, Sobhi changed careers after a series of assessments confirmed his strong sales aptitude. He bought into a franchise and then became a franchise consultant. He subsequently bought the Sunbelt Pasadena franchise and established offices in Pasadena where it has been operating since 2000.
He passed away on March 26, 2014 after a 2½ year bout with cancer. He bravely faced his illness, continuing work as a business broker until a month before his death. He got to see his son Greg marry Susan, attend Chris' law school graduation, cruise the Mediterranean with his brother and sister, enjoy Cancun's beaches, go on mini-trips to Las Vegas and Palm Springs and rediscover the theater scene in southern California.
Sunbelt Pasadena will continue operating as Angelica and Sunbelt Pasadena brokers and staff continue his legacy of serving clients with integrity and dedication. He will be missed but we will be sustained by memories of his sense of humor and wise counsel.
